Menfor Group is proud to be supporting the delivery of the £113 million A46 Coventry Junctions (Walsgrave) upgrade, following the granting of development consent by government ministers.
The approval enables the National Highways scheme to move into the construction phase, with works expected to commence in autumn. The new junction is scheduled to open to traffic in 2028.
The project will see the existing three-arm priority roundabout connecting the A46 and the B4082 at Walsgrave replaced with a new grade-separated junction positioned to the north of the current layout. The B4082 will also be extended to connect directly into the new junction, significantly improving traffic flow, capacity, and safety in the area.
