Bletchley Depot Enhancement Project

Taylor Woodrow is providing buildability advice for the enhancement of Bletchley Depot, ensuring it can accommodate and maintain the new Class 730 trains for West Midlands Trains. The project follows a collaborative approach, working closely with key partners to deliver an efficient and future-proofed maintenance facility.

This two-stage design and construction project focuses on the reconfiguration of Bletchley Depot, located near Milton Keynes, to support the new train fleet. Currently, the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase is underway, allowing for the development of detailed design services that will inform the final programme of works.

The Taylor Woodrow team is leading the project alongside BWB, the lead designer. Additional expertise is being provided by EJ Parkers for mechanical and electrical advice, with PBH and Navitas contributing specialist input. This collaborative effort ensures a practical, efficient, and well-integrated solution for the depot’s modernisation.
